favonoids, tannins, proteins, alkaloids, carbohydrates reducing sugars, phytosterols, saponins, coumarins, triterpenoids, furanocassane-diterpenes, nor-cassane diterpenes, neo-cassane diterpenes and many other bioactive compounds. It exerted nootropic,
anticonvulsant, antianxiety, adaptogenic, antimicrobial, antiprotozoal, anthelmintic, insecticidal, antiproliferatve, antidiabetic,
hypotensive, cardiprotective, hepatoprotective, anticancer, antioxidant, hypolipidemic and many other effects. This review
