81ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF METHANOL EXTRACTS OF THE LEAVES OF LEMNA MINOR AGAINST EIGHT DIFFERENT BACTERIAL SPECIESThe present study investigated the antibacterial activity of methanol extracts of the leaves of Lemna minor (Lemnaceae) against eight different bacterial species such as Bacillus subtilis, Escherichi coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Micrococcus luteus, Shigella flexneri, Bacillus megaterium and Salmonella typhi using resazurin microtiter plate assay and colorimetric resazurin assay.
