medication to a patient in a manner that increases the concentration of the medication in some parts of the body relative to
others are comes under the Targeted drug delivery system some time it is also known as smart drug delivery system. It is a
very difficult task for a drug molecule to reach its destination in the complex cellular network of an organism. This system is
based on a method that delivers a certain amount of a therapeutic agent for a prolonged period of time to a targeted diseased
area within the body. For over 20 years, researchers have appreciated the potential benefits of nanotechnology in providing vast
improvements in drug delivery and drug targeting which improves delivery techniques that minimize toxicity and improve
efficacy offers great potential benefits to patients, and opens up new markets for pharmaceutical and drug delivery companies.
Other approaches to drug delivery are focused on crossing particular physical barriers, such as the blood brain barrier, in order
to better target the drug and improve its effectiveness. In this review article we are focusing on the novel system which in the
TDDS like Liposome’s, Microsphere Nianosomes, and Nanoparticles, are used in the Targeted Drug Delivery Systems.
<Email>rakesh_tiwle@rediffmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>4</volume><issue>3</issue><year>2014</year><keyword>Liposome’s,Microsphere Nianosomes,Nanoparticles</keyword><AUTHORS>D.K.
