From time to time, investigations have been carried out to develop different types of polyherbal formulations to enhance the overall therapeutic potential of the formulation. Epidemiological proof species that plants, which are rich in antioxidants are able to decrease cardiovascular pathological conditions. Thus present study supports that aqueous extract of kabasura kudineer (AEKK) have significant antibacterial, anti-atherogenic activity. On the basis of the study the formulation showed significant in vitro anti-oxidant activity by terminating the actions of free radicals. The potential activity of extract may be due to the presence of phenols, flavonoids and other phytochemical constituents present in it. Hence, such indigenous drug with remarkable medicinal value could be further investigated using in vivo model to develop a natural, safe and plant-based anti-atherogenic drug..
<Email>jk51279@gmail.com</Email><articletype>Research</articletype><volume>11</volume><issue>1</issue><year>2021</year><keyword>Kabasura Kudineer,Anti-atherogenic,Antibacterial and Antioxidant</keyword><AUTHORS>J.Karthi,G.Arul Baskar,N.
